Starting to make up for lost time due to the nets. High point of the past 24 hrs. was the sunset last night. First one we've been able to see for days. Then this morning there was a very tiny blip on the radar abot 6 miles away. Finally saw a mast off to our right and hailed the boat on Channel 16. Turns out they are from Cresent City heading back to Honolulu. He told us that up until today they have been closed up in their cabin staying warm and how wonderful it is to find warmth. What warmth!?!? We are in sweats and socks! We chatted for a bit, asked if they needed anything and we slowly went our seprate way. Glen, if your reading this, I just passed your May 23rd position report from last year. Boat and crew are doing well, and we finally got Jim to actually cook something! :) Leftover rice and the rest of the Albracore. We made 119 miles yesterday and if we keep that up, or better, we could be home before the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed! As tempting as it may be to go faster, safety 1st. Too damn close to try to push harder, so we'll just take what we can get. Till tomorrow Lynn
