Another south run.

Another south run.
This morning we left our anchorage at San Simeon behind at started south again. Although we heard that the next safe harbor was Morro Bay and that it was beautiful, stopping there proposed too many hazards and since it has the reputation of being the foggiest place on the California Coast and even as we passed by it was encased in fog, we continued on to San Luis Obispo Bay.
Seven hours later we were heading in toward a sunny landfall in twenty knots of wind and seven to ten foot beautiful emerald seas. Once inside, we anchored in nine knots or less and were content until the harbor master called and told us we were in the wrong area. So we weighed the anchor and moved to a different area
Just a bit tired now but I think we will stay here a couple of days until the seas calm down as the next leg may be a bit nasty going around Point Conception, our last big hurdle to get around in our quest for warmer weather and warmer seas.
