The last 48 hrs we have pushed 160nm South. After leaving KItak we motored overnight to an island called Skjoldungen. We are over 400km from the nearest inhabitaion so we were surprised to find a camp of 5 American big wall climbers here. They have been here 25 days but are collected today by boat. We are in a huge fjord system surrounded by huge granite peaks and glaciers falling to the sea. We will have another night tonight at anchor just a little further south and then tomorrow push another 80nm S. Todays photo was taken from 1/2 up the mast by me whilst looking for leads in the ice, Dave is pushing a berg clear for Janice on the helm, good team work :)
