26 April 2019 | Sisimiut, West Greenland

We woke up to blazing sunshine! A short snowmobile ride to the base of a side valley where we began to skin. Conditions were warmer to previous days and the snow quickly softened. We finally reached our summit at 1025m, we believe this was the first ski ascent. Superb views overlooking the ocean, fjords, endless mountains with hardly any wind. The descent was exciting in spring snow conditions. A group of very happy skiers returned to the hut where soup and homemade bread was awaiting us. Sun, ski, sea, adventure and awesome food.... :-)
