We left Bundaberg this morning in light breezes, and sailed for a couple of hours - the wind deserted us and we have been motor-sailing for some hours now. A bit more breeze is forecast overnight, but nothing spectacular. We hope to get to Mooloolaba sometime tomorrow night. We saw several whales this afternoon on Hervey Bay - including one that breached about 100m from us, flopping on its back into the water and creating a heck of a splash and noise. Thankfully, none came closer! We'll be in touch again when we get to Mooloolaba. Although we are out of range tonight and some of tomorrow, except for that the mobiles are now worth trying if anyone wants to say hi and have a chat. Cheers from us!
