A day out from Australia

John and Shauna
The entrance to the inner harbour at Coffs had indeed shoaled during the shennanigins of the last week, but we snuck out over the bar at high tide (Destiny draws 2.6 metres so we need good water) and have had a very gentle passage so far - alternately sailing and motor-sailing in 5 - 10 knots NW breeze. After breakfast today it dropped off to 3 - 5 knots so we have the motor on at present (we tend to lose patience if we are doing under 3 knots consistently) Destiny is very happy to be away - this looks like being a slower trip than last year, but we have a great pile of books to chew through, and lots of new fishing lures for trolling. So the good news is there is no news! We'll put up a new post and Google Earth position report tomorrow. Cheers, Us
