Last evening Nelda and I hit the "wall". Even with a nice wind blowing it was more than we could do to put up a new sail combination so we turned on the motor and made good time toward our destination. I wish I could tell you more about Bahia Santa Maria but all we have done is slept since we arrived at about 1;30 PM. The is something about that old sleep bank account being empty and needing to be recharged that sneeks up on you. I can say Bahai Santa Maria is a large protected bay. It is surounded by large hills and sanddunes. There is no town here or any year round population. They are setting up a resteurant tomorrow that is open one time each year just for the Baja Ha Ha. We heard about the situation in Cabo San Lucus today and the commitee boat is monitoring the situation. As tomorrow is an off day from sailing we are three days away from Cobo. In any event we are able to skip Cabo if need be. Tomorrow we have several projects and are going ashore in the dink. Getting to shore is quite an experience and I cant wat to try it. Basicly you have to surf into the shore only insted of a board you use a dingy. Is just like surfing only different! Just think of everything you carry and don't want wet and then start breaking out the ziplock bags. Nelda whipped up a real feast tonight of grild Dorado, black beans and spanish rice. Yum. There were a few tricker treaters even out here but we have pelnty of candy so we had Snickers Bars for desert. They sure are small these days or my mouth is allot bigger now than it was when I was young. Nelda gave me a Red Vine and it was more like a Red Sprout. That's it from Diamond Girl for tonight. We are going to bed early to make some deposits in our sleep account.
