A good day to do laundry

08 November 2011 | 23 22'N:109 25'W, Bahina los Frailes
Larry
We arrived in Bahina los Frailes last night and about 5 am the swells really came up to the point they woke us up. Today has been wind, wind and more wind. A great day to dry laundry except it would probabley blow off the boat. As were eatting breackfast we watched the boat behind us slowly drift out of the bay. We tried to get them on the radio but there was no answer so we raised anchor and chased it down. The two people on board were asleep and didn't know their anchor had given way in the wind. Later in the day the boat next to us did the same thing. Everyone in the anchorage let out extra chain including us. This is rugged country as you can see from the picture. It is hasrd to see that any thing really grows here. There are lots of buzzards so there must be someting for them to eat. Off to the left is a condominium project. It has to be the Sea Mountain of Mexico. Hawaii has the original Sea Moutain located 100 miles from the edge of civilazation on the Big Island. Tomorrow it is more of the same as the forcast is for this strong North wind to persist through Thursday. It's just not allot of fun motoring directly into the wind and knocking your fillings out so we will stay here another day or two. It has been kind of wierd not having anything planned or haveing to work on something or having to be some place today. Is this what we have worked so hard to experience? Yes!
