Larry
This is our last night in La Paz for a while. If you look real hard you can see Diamond Girl in the photo. The marina was full with other Ha Ha boats when we got here so we anchored out. It is about a 10 minute dingy ride when things are smooth which is almost never and about 30 minutes when they are not. Nelda always seems to get the wet side of the boat. Not really wet but just a spritz now and then. You know the kind that sneek up on you and take you breath away. The problem is they add up and by the end of the ride she is basicly wet and I am in trouble. Fortunately it only happens when we are coming back to the boat. To change the subject to better things, oh how nice are clean sheets and a shower just before you go to bed. They are wonderful. I have never appriciated clean laundry like I have on this trip. We are settling into "manyana time". No rush if it gets done today or tomorrow or at all. We did some more shopping today. No food involved. We walked 10 blocks to the Iusacell store. We thought it was the USAcell store and they would certainly speak English. You guessed it, no one spoke english, even a little. Just as we were getting ready to leave the guy behind us asked if he could interprate for us. How nice, he basicly cost himself about 20 minutes helping us. We now have better email service so we will be trying to get caught up on some of the ones many of you have sent. Our goal is to be back in touch with each of you that commented on the blog as well as those that have emailed. We are doing that first thing manyana, or the next day or the next but definatelly not never. It is getting late today and we are meeting Ha Ha friends that just arrived today for dinner. We are leaving early tomorrow so we will be making a list and checking it twice to see if we can get emails back to you soon. We really do love your comments on the blog page. It is fun letting y ou know what is going on and at the same time keeping a kind of journal. Some of youu may notice some of the subjects are targeted to YOU and you alone. For instance there are two individuals that remember "The Boatnics". And last nights went out to a brownie addict in Canada. You know who you are! So keep reading and I will try to find something memorable to write about that is just for you.
