Larry
Greetings from Bahia San Gabriel. We left La Paz behind yesterday. Well not very far behind as we can still see it across the channel but we did get out of town. Oddly we discoverd yesterday we were exhausted. While it didn't feel like it at the time what we did in La Paz was very taxing. New language, new foods and new shopping experiences all took its toll. We are glad to be out and about again. We really enjoyed our time in La Paz. We tried to go back to Puerto Balandra where we survived the big storm but the winds were from the Northwest and it would have been a very uncomfortable night. Instead we opted for Bahia San Gabrial, it is more protected from the Northwest wind. The problem is the wind didn't come from the Northwest as forcast last night but from the West which meant we had a very uncomfortable night here. You kind of get used to getting tossed from one side of the bed to the other. It's kind of like an eathquake. Could that be another secrete message to one of you? It is sunny this morning and the temperature is about 72 which is getting kind of chilly. We have develope a new problem over the last few days. What to do with all that papya. The first few days papya for breakfast with some fresh lime was great. But after three days of that it started to get old but we were still using the first half. Nelda has been pretty creative. We had papya salsa on our fish tacos and it was very good. Now I am hearing her talking about papya katsup, papya jam and papya and peanut butter sandwiches. That actually sounds pretty good. WARNING, eatting too much papya can cause undesirable effects the next day! Please email any papya recipes you have as we are desparte. We are continuing North today as the West wind makes for gerat sailing. There are a number of islands ahead so we don't have to make a long distance in a day. Ok, get out your Ovenltine secrete decoder ring for this weeks message. That is the clew for those of you that have seen and love this move of which I know there are at least three. More manana
