Today we decided to go to Purto Escondeto. We listened to the weather forecast and and downloaded another forecast. Both said NE winds 12 to 18 knots. But somebody for got to tell Mother Nature. As soon as we were out of the bay we had 20 knots and building seas. This is crazy so we decieded that we could sail down wind to Sa Everisto very nicely with these conditions. That would have been true if the wind wouldn't have toped 30 and the waves 10 to 12 feet. The photo is the sail we had up the whole trip and we were going as fast as the old girl would go, 7 to 8 knots. It was a wild ride. Probably no worse that coming down the Baja but then it was dark so we wearn't nearly so scared. Today in the sunshine it was just more, should I say, thrilling!!! Well you already know the end of the story or you wouldn't be reading this. But there's more and you will jsut have to wait to read it as Nelda has fresh dorado ready for diner. More later.
