Hello all We have fallen in love with Chacala. We have been here four days now and we don't want to leave. The water is warm, the sky is sunny and there is no wind. What could be better. The beach is lined with small family owned resturants and we eat at a different one each day. A typical day starts about 8am. Nelda gets up and starts the coffee and by the time it is done I am up. We each have two cups whilee sitting in the cockpit watching the other boats and then Nelda heads out on deck to dry the boat. The humidity is so high that in the moring everyting is soaking wet just as if it rained during the night. Today we had six new boats arrive and only one leave. Just when you think there is no more room in the achorage there is room for more. You just have to be creative. The highlight of my day was getting a massage. It was strictly for medicinal purposes. I have been having some tingling in my left arm and thought I had a pinched nerve in may back. It was a wonderful hour. We ate a little lunch and then headed back to the boat for a nap and to read. Guess who had to take a nap? We finished the day watching the sun go down while eatting diner with two couples from Canada. Then we stumbled back to the dingy, at least tonight we had a flashlight, and it was off to the boat to write this and then to sleep. We are exhaused! Nelda and I do need to recognize the efforts of our daughters Sarah, Rebecca snd Rachel. They are doing a wonderful job running the busness and we could not be enjoying ourselves if it were not for them. Thanks ladies! Tomorrow we are on a quest to find an ATM.
