There appears to be a good weather window opening up the first of this next week. That is a fancy name for the winds will be strong, steady and in the right direction. Most of the boats that left two weeks ago are nearing the equator but have suffered from a lack of wind. This is the first consistant Northwest winds of the Spring season and Nelda and I are hoping to take advantage of them. We are planning to leave Wednesday about noon. This should put us in the right place for a nice sail. I am currently still doing projects and Nelda has started the provissioning. It is hard to try and think of things that don't take alot of preparation. The next few days will be busy but it keep you from dewlling too much on what you are about to do. We do listen to the other boats that have alread left on the HF radio each night. we could hear 13 of the 14 boats and several of them were across the equator.
