How do you spell FUN

If you didn't guess the answer it is" NIGHT WATCH". Yep, nothing more fun thatn stareing out into the darkness for 3 hours, then sleepping for 3, and then watching nothing for another 3. Then do that for 7 days. We have just made the 600 mile mark and only have 2000 more to go. Actually it hasn't been too bad. Yes it is rough compaired to any other sailing we have done but it's not dangerouslly rough. Nelda wants me to post some comments on how FUN it is cooking on a boat at sea. The closest thing that discribes what it's is like is when you are in an airliner and hit big time turbulance and the fasten seat belt light comes on. You know the stuff where the fight attendants are running for there seats that have the extra seat belts. Well, that's just normal cooking conditions at sea on a 40 foot boat. When Nelda lights gas stove on Diamond Girl start fixing diner it getts real interesting. Everything slides from one side to the other. Last night was brutal. Cooking in Kitche n Stadiam is like going to kindergarten comparied to cooking on Diamond Girl. Yes there are plenty of knieves flying around in KS but they all have hands attached to them. Not so on the boat. Some are just going on thier own way. The real thrill is using the head. Usually you are thrown in the open door and end up with your face against the mirror or you are prematurely ejected before all the paper work is done or before sippers and buttons can be properly closed. For those peole that need to concentrate, forget it. You want in and out of that place as fast as you can. Nothing good happens the longer you stay. Planning a cruise, forget zippers and buttons, the two most dangerous items on the boat. Just that 1 second delay can mean the difference between a gracefull exit or utter embarasement and likely bruising.
