Today has been one of those frustrating days. As you can see from the photo it is a post card day weather wise. The clouds you see in the back ground are thunbderstorms of the ITCZ and that is right where we like them, in the background. We had a pleasant night with no squalls but very light winds. We had hoped to make it to the equator tomorrow but now that doesn't look possible as the wind just hasn't cooperated. I suppose days like today are to be expected. We have had so many days filled with excitement that when we have two days in a row that are nice we don't know what to do. We did get to wrestle with the Growler this morning as the furling line came off again, only this time there was no fixing it while the sail was up so I went forward and Nelda dropped the sail. It came dowm on me and was every where. My job was to keepit out of the water and get it down the forward hatch into the garage. Oh, for those of you that don't know, Diamond Girl has two sleeping cabins. To make room for all the stuff we need for the trip the forward cabin has been converted into storage B. We call it the garage. You never want to have to go to the garage to find anything. So it looks like another two days to the equator but it is hard to complain when the weather is so nice. Todays high was about 87 and the low was 82. Hopefull the forecast is more of the same.
