Arts and Crafts aboard Diamond Girl

Greetings Today we are going to explore some of the other activities besides sleeping, eating and standing watch that are available on Diamond Girl. I think you will be surprised. To days pic is one of our favorite activities. It is where we get to glue things back together. Now normally at home we would throw this away, but not here, bacause we have ten days to go and this is only one of 3 remaining cups on board. Well it is actually 1 of 2 as yesterday we broke the blue one. So it's down to green or red. Now the green one has alread had its handle glued back on and is doing fine so this project should be a snap. It does always make you wonder when Nelda hands you a boiling hot cup of soup in one of these cups. Hummm. That soup smells rally good! Don't worry, this is an easy fix we have most of the parts of this one. One thing you don't fix is Corel. You know that plastic/glass/flubber indestructable china. Well take it from me, it does break. We had a little problem the other night where all the dishes in the port side cupboards decieded they wanted to go to the starboard side floor. That is when we discovered Corel does break and it spinters into millions of little sharp pieces that make dropping a glass look like childs play. But on the possitive side, thesse razor sharp shards are easier to find when you step on them because they are white. So what other activities are available on Diaomond Girl. Have you ever tried "Cockpit Lugeing". This sport is lots of fun to watch. All you need is a folding seat cushion and a heaving rolling cocpit. The contestant sits on the high side of the cockit and trys to do some other activity like reading, having a drink of water or sleeping, (sleeping is an activity?) Now there are rules and to copit luge you cannot be using any hand or foot restraints. There you have it. The boat is hit by a some big waves, the cockpit tillts violently and your off, headed straight down to the copit floor while clutching the seat cushion and possible lunch or a drink. The person setting on the other side of the cockpit is the judge scoring the event. So far I have made 4 training runs and Nelda only one. Sounds fun doesn't it?
