Greetings Today has been a disappointing day because we have made so little progress. We have had a little wind but we are motoring about 6 hours each day. It just drives you crazy to sit still when you have so far to go. We have had more squalls today than normal. The squalls here are mild comparied to the ones in Boise. They are not as windy, there is no lightning but they do have allot of rain. Fortunately they are very short lived and many disapate before ever reaching us. Todays pic is of a sunset just as a squall went by. As a folow up to the piece on Cockpit loge in yesterdays blog, that ever clever Nelda took the luge to a new level today when she luged off the cabin salon table. We have the table down so it forms a bed and she was reading when the wind picked unexpectantly, Diamond Girl heeled over and Nelda was off, and I mean really off to a flying start. The difference between cockpit luge and salon luge is pretty dramatic. The is very little speed involve in falling of your seat. In salon luge speed is invoved. Fortunately Nelda is ok, she says her attemt will be the new world record as she is never doing either luge again.
