Greetings After whinning yesterday we have been rewarded with a very good day today. The wind has been soild for the first time in two weeks. Solid means that it has blown all day, at the right speed and from the right direction. We have our blue and green "groweler" up and are moving at about 6 kts which is about as fast as we go. The boat has a very nice motion. For those that don't know what that means; while we are rocking back and fourth quite a bit, it has a rhythm to the motion. You just feel yourself go with the flow so to speak. It's when the swells come from different directions that it's tough. Your body has no idea of which direction the boat is rocking next and it is very difficult to sit, no less walk. Nelda is recovering nicelly form yesterdays luge activity. Upon further review she has been awarded bonus points for raod rash she got from sliding over the velcro patches that hold on the cushions! Todays photo is an example of how crafty Nelda is in the galley. After the "luge" yesterday we passed on dinner. We ate 5 brownies instead of the steak Nelda had defrosted. Sooo, this moring she surprises me with steak and fried potatoes. Yum!! Day 24 and we are eating steak and fried potatoes, that's amazing! We are actually starting to think about when we might get to the Marquesas. The weather forcast is for improving winds and if all goes well that would mean we could arrive early next week. Only five to seven days of sailling 24 hours a day but at this point is seems like a very short time.
