Today is our last day in Rangeroa. We have had a great time and met may new friends. Meeting friends here works like this. You see a new boat come in and you go over and let them know what the bottom is like before they anchor. Then that evening you get together for appetizers and exchange stories of what it was like coming through the pass or where they are from. Last night we had a potluck at the place in the pic with people from Norway, Australia, Great Britain and the US. None of us new each other a week before but we feel like best friends now. Cruising is very special that way. Tomorrow we leave and who knows when we will see these friends again. The thing is there are dozens of others we have met that we will see along the way and share stories with as well.
