Hello From Moorea. Today started with with a hot cup of coffee and this sunrise. It is hard to imagine the beauty of this place. Later we took the Diamond Girls dingy (Chip) into the local town to the grocery store. You have to buy fresh bread everyday. It's the law and it has to be baguettes. Every third person you meet has a couple loaves under one arm or the other. Some are just munching on them as they walk down the street. In the store they have them in big bins of maybe a hudred or more. And they fill that bin a couple times a day. Then it was time to do a little snorkeling. We are achored right at the edge of a huge reef so getting in the water took about 2 minutes. We saw quite a few claims which is something we haven't see before. There is something very odd about the water here. First it is the clearest water I have ever been in. Every place else I have snorkeled in was just a little chilly and I was always ready to get out in about a hour. Not here! The water is a bout 85 to 90 degrees and you don't even notice the temperature. It is like swimming in some clear liquid that exactly matches your body temperature. After about 3 hour we were tired had headed back to the boat to eat, you guessed it baguettes. It is also a law that each person eat at least one baguette a day and I won't tell you what I am eating as I write this. Yum!
