Today Rebecca bravely set off to see Mata Rays. They have a spot to feed and play with them but she and her friends could't find it. Personally I think she look relieved. We used the dive compressor again today and Lilly and Nelda went paddle boarding. Todays pic is of one of the two things that everyone identifies with Tahiti. The first is Tahitian Black Pearls and the second are these over-the-water hotel rooms. There is something magical about seeing these individuals bungalows setting over the crystal blue ocean. There are three of these hotels that we know of on Moorea. On a side note, I have had a number of comments regarding famous "Canadian" food. The list contains Bannock - Fried bread a native dish Maple syrup - Canada makes the best Canadian back bacon Ginger beef - a Chinese Canadian dish invented in Vancouver Poutine - gravy and curds on French fries a Quebec delicacy Montreal style bagels much better than new York bagels Ketchup chips originated in Winnipeg in the winter when there is nothing to do Nanaimo bars - need I say more Alberta beef - raised on canadian grasses California roll - a Chinese Canadian dish originated in Toronto Chinatown Personally most of these look like they were borrowed from the countries of origin. Canadian Bacon is certainly a exclusive and Canadian Maple is syrup stretch. I don't remember many people saying "Please pass that delicious Canadian Maple syrup". That's it for today, Nelda is cooking up a Canadian dinner of Albert beef, well beef from somewhere, and Nanaimo bars.
