Bon Jour! Guest Blogger, Sarah here: Yesterday was July 8th, which just happens to be my birthday. What a wonderful place to celebrate. As an added bonus, one of my birthday wishes came true. About 4pm, some local "beach enthusiusts" (aka: locals who arent real fond of the "out of towners") helped us celebrate the "Big 33" by BLARING some "Celine Dion" techno tunes. Obviously, just young people trying to be REBELLIOUS, but I must take issue with their music choice ... while "Celine Dion" is SCARY, I can think of some more threatening tunes to FREAK people out. So loud was their Celine Dion enthusiasm, that we ended up moving to a deeper, more tucked away part of the bay. The amazing part is, the place we ended up is much PRETTIER and smells like hibiscus flowers. Mom made a cake (candles and all) and we had a great time.
