Bon Jour from Tahiti ... Guest Blogger, Sarah, here: Today I did something I never thought I would do ... we "chummed" the waters and "swam" (aka: took pictures from the dingy because I was too terrified) with Manta Rays and Sharks. I KNOW!!! We dingy-ed (heh heh) over to a shallow part of the bay where the manta rays like to hang ad where the sharks like to loiter. The water there is so clear it looks like a swimming pool, sans "over-chlorinated" fumes. We fed the rays/sharks "skipjack" tuna that they caught on one of their crossings. It was awesome. The rays get so close that you can pet them ... CRAZY ... they feel like a inner-tube. Really cool.
