Last night we went to the Tahitian food truck experience known as "The Roulet". Around 6pm, every night, about 10-15 local food trucks pull into a town center square and set up little, mini restaurants. The color of the table-cloth tells you which "restaurant" you are sitting in. Us travellers do our best to speak the French and most of the staff speaks pretty good English (tres better than mon francais) but when all else fails, you just point to the picture of what you want. Last night we had steak and a local FAVE called "Poisson Cru" which is bascially: raw fish marinated with coconut milk and lime juice mixed with veggies like cucumber and onion. It was AWESOME!
