Greeting From Neah Bay Today we made the trip from Port Angeles to Neah Bay. This is our departure point out to sea. From here we look out into the wild blue yonder and can almost see Japan. Todays trip was just the flip side of what we have experienced the last few days. Those were real knuckle bitters. We had fog, big ships and overal just rotten conditions. Today it was water that was smooth as glass, blue skies and only a few fishing boats. There is no way anyone would think we are anchored with the edge of the Pacific Ocean just a mile away. Our weatherman, Glenn, has promised wind for tomorrow but after what we experienced today it may be a looooong trip trip down the coat. Fortunately the current runs down the coast so we will slowly drift south eating our unlimited food supply as we bask in the sun. The forecast for tomorrow is for light winds, building in the afternoon and calm seas or as we like to think of it, "perfect conditions" for developing some new sea legs. If all goes well we will set out about 10 am and probabley motor until about 4 pm and then set sail. Everyone is ready to get started after listening to the engine grind away for three out of the last four days. I've gotta go as Glenn and Mark are making/boiling Michelles famous frozen pork for diner and there are also the ever popular brownies:~) Pray for wind, we need it! The Skipper
