Geetings from Turtle Bay The crew of the good ship Diamond Girl arrive in Turtle Bay at first light. The first order of business was taking a nap. After recharging we were ready for adventure. The first thing we did was launch the dingy and take a ride around the anchorage. Meeting other crews and finding out how they made the trip. We met people from Sweden, Germany and Canada. They all were ready to tell us their storys. Then we went to a baseball game like no other game we have ever experienced. The teams were made up of cruisers and kids from the town that play baseball. There were pleanty of old farts reliving there youth trying to hit the ball out of the park. Everone that wanted to bat had the chance. There were about twenty kids and adults playing on the field at the same time. There were plenty of pulled muceles and injuries but no one seemed to care. Then it was on to a resturant that opens only one time a year to serve the Ha Ha boat crews. It was great Mexican food. And don't forget the T rick or Treaters. Kids from the boats came by in dingys to trick and treat. Nelda had candy and there were some great costumes. We did make a beginers mistake today, we left the boat at noon and forgot to leave a deck or anchor light on so on our way back the boat was invisible. Fortinately I had put some reflective tap on the top of the mast and the light from Al's phone was enogh to make it shin. Tomorrow is another day in Turtle Bay and then its on to Mag Bay. Larry
