Embera Indian girl

Glad to be leaving the brackish waters behind us, DD entered the blue Pacific, cruising down the coast to Bahia Pinas. In front of the world's number one fishing lodge, the well known "Tropic Star Lodge" we dropped the hook. The beautiful bay is well protected and in the distance we noticed an Embera Indian settlement. They are also called Chocoe Indians.
Not long after we arrived, a small dougout canoe with two Embera Indian girls stopped by. These charming young ladies were very determined to sell me their handcrafted jewellery and baskets.
And of course, their persistence paid out.
