Opposite Torpoint, is the former royal dockyards where huge undercover sheds are used for frigate repair and where Britain's nuclear submarines are refitted. It's certainly a hive of activity here with police patrols cruising up and down the estuary from dawn to dusk. Great for people and vessel watching.

Spent the day stocking up on fuel, food and water ready for our next journey, hopefully Fowey. Also caught up with our friend Dave who spent the winter at Darthaven before moving to Torpoint Yacht Harbour. Dave has cruised extensively on his boat to many places that we wish to eventually visit - great to see you again Dave. Take care.
