It's amazing how Salcombe has changed in a matter of weeks - the day boats that are normally out to hire are now safely stored away for the winter.

Normandy Pontoon, normally a hive of activity with dory's and dinghy's coming and going was empty (apart from our little dinghy). Certainly winter has definitely started here. Even the daily 'Water taxi' and 'Harbour master' were on reduced hours.

We found it quite pleasant as you could walk up and down the small streets without any problems with cars or people. We even treated ourselves to a bag of Fish'n'Chips overlooking the sea front - yummy and lovely.
