Having caught up on some sleep it was time to move on.

Our very short passage plan meant that we could leave Loctudy during the afternoon and arrive in Benodet, approximately 4 miles along the coast an hour or so later.

This gave us time in the morning to relocate from the buoy to the Marina wavebreak (jetty) and refill water tanks, diesel tanks, dispose of rubbish/waste and obtain the latest GRIB file (weather forecast). The forecast predicted WSW5-6 gusting 7 at times. Not the best forecast but given the wind direction it would be perfect sailing for Drummer as she's in her element when the wind is on her rear quarter.

Drummer took the waves in her stride, gently riding over them as we rolled along at 5.5kts with just our genoa (sail) up.

Within the hour we arrived in Benodet and took a buoy just off Penfoul Marina.
