Awoke to yet another really wet day – the fine rain that just gets you soaked in minutes.

Neither of us wanted to venture out so the day was spent relaxing and reading up on our next port of call after the Vilaine River.

There was an hour or so where it stopped raining allowing Bruce to drop a fishing line over the side. I'm sure I overheard him talking to himself or to the fish! Shortly afterwards the rain stopped play again. Bruce reported that he had a few fish follow his lure right up to the surface, large fish, probably trout. Not a bad start considering he’s only using a sea rod, line and lure (he didn’t bring any fishing gear for river fishing!).
