cooling off at Les Minimes Beach
We were very pleased when we found this beach, literally next door to Les Minimes Marina so we've spent a few days cooling off and splashing around in the sea which is a lovely 21 degrees (guess someone has a thermometer!). The beach is a good size and a mixture of golden sand, crushed shells and small boulders.
'Le Phare du bout du monde' (The Lighthouse at the End of the World) is just off the shoreline, a replica of the one on Staten Island east of Cape Horn which was made famous in the adventure novel written by French author Jules Verne.
