Underway at 8:00 into the Alligator/ Pongo Canal which is almost straight for 30 miles, lots of northbound boats passed us, still can't figure out the increase in traffic.
Stopped for gas at the Alligator Marina, the cruising guide touted it as unusually friendly but I guess the dock master was having a bad day, we weren't impressed. They did have a bunch of good slips if you wanted to spend the night however.
We anchored in the Little Alligator River with one other sailboat, not a good place for dogs, Pep had a tough time getting to shore.
A quiet night.
