5/19/10

Underway at 7:15, at first we had the tide against us and could do only 3 kts., our chart plotter data indicated no adverse tide so I'm not sure what's going on, maybe the data is off? Later our speed picked up to 5 kts.
We trolled two lines most of the day but no luck. I do not have a current Md. fishing license yet so I felt we would catch something but it didn't work. There are all these metaphysical influences on successful fishing you have to try, like lucky under ware or a rabbits foot, so far we haven't found the secret.
We anchored in Henry's Creek, off Fleets Bay on the Western Shore. We were protected from the forecasted winds but they came from another direction with alot of fetch but fortunately were mild so we had a quiet night.
