So awhile ago, I got the majority of the interior work done. Sanded, primed and painted. This was quickly followed by a new bottom job- and I must say, I really like the grey. I plan to get the stripe on the hull repainted to match when I get time.
So here is a picture of the interior shot from the V-berth. I am really enjoying how the vinyl floor has come together. In addition I have mounted the teak nav station rack and the dish/galley rack on the bulkheads. Will post those pictures shortly.
Yesterday I took a trip out to the dry "dock" to check on my sleeping beauty. We have had a bunch of rain and I was concerned the tarp covering her might have leaked. Turns out the tarp was shredded and a not a little leaky, but alot. so with a cringe I popped the top and climbed in... Bone dry. Small miracle made my day. Picked up my nav equipment for the ASA 105 and 106 class coming up in October during the harvest moon regatta, which I will be crewing on last years winning boat.
The text for 105 and 106 is "The Anapolis Book of Seamanship".... Only slightly less daunting than Nigels cruising text.
More later, as always, and possibly alot later... you know me.
