Portia and Steve sailed out of San Francisco Bay, California in 2003, on their 42 foot catamaran, Dream Caper. They cruised in the Sea of Cortez and down the coast of Mexico for 2 years. [...] After spending one year cruising the coasts of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, they transitted the Panama Canal to the Caribbean in 2006. They spent 2 years enjoying the beautiful San Blas Islands off the northern coast of Panama. And in 2008, they re-transitted the Canal back to the Pacific. In April 2009, they crossed from the Las Perlas Islands, south of Panama City, to Ecuador where Dream Caper is currently moored. In March 2010, they will sail to the Galapagos Islands and in April, will make the crossing to the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, in the South Pacific.
