Jaws

We have finally moved on to a new location, Nantucket, after spending close to two weeks on the Vineyard. We planned to leave yesterday, found out that Netflicks was hosting a traveling road show with a free showing of Jaws. Jaws was filmed on Martha?? s Vineyard. We decided we must stay another day. They inflated a huge screen in the park at Oak Bluffs and tons of people showed up. Well, we thought it was a great idea until we realized Nicole just wasn?? t ready to see a Great wWhite eat people on the same beach she had been swimming from only the day before. Do you remember the scene when the Sheriff sends his boy to the pond to sail. There is a bridge in that scene. The kids had been jumping off of that bridge a couple of hours before the movie. We took the bus home and anticipated our long dinghy ride back to the boat in the pitch dark after seeing that movie. I guess we should have thought things through a little bit more, and as you may have guessed it was a long night?? s sleep.
After arriving in Nantucket, Lisa cooked up another one of her fabulous meals with homemade bread, which was to die for. After dinner we headed into town to check things out. This was our first time here and what a neat little town with cobble stone roads. The sidewalks are a little uneven from all the old tree roots that have been growing for centuries.
