Dinked in to Everglades City - this is a quiet community that in the 1920's was the central location for the building of the Tamiami Trail - the road that linked the cities of Miami and Tampa. Docked the dink at the Rod and Gun club and walked the city streets, taking in the Museum of the Everglades and ultimately ending up at the Oyster House restaurant for lunch. Intermittent cell/internet service - we are in the wilderness!
