After tidying up the boat and raising the yellow quarantine flag we headed into Bimini to check in with the customs office. After a ten mile jib sail at 6.5 knots with flat seas, we anchored inside the Bimini Harbor next to the Bimini Big Game Fishing Club (Hemingway made this island famous for big game fishing). Captain Bruce (only the Captain may leave the boat till all customs paperwork is completed) took all the boat paperwork, passports and the $300 permit fee (for three months) to complete our entry into the Bahamas. We have arrived!!! Thank you Lord!
