Chub Cay to Frazers Hog Cay
23 February 2011
We sailed 2.5 hours (3 miles directly to windward, but actually sailed 12 miles with tacking) to Frazers Hog Cay. This island at one time was separate from Chub Cay, but now the islands are connected by mangroves. We picked up a mooring ball (my first time – it took two tries!) and dinked into the small marina to use their wifi ($10/one hour). Great to get on the web to check email and see what is going on in the world (still no telephones!). Met some fellow Island Packet owners from St. Pete and spent the evening eating dinner in the cockpit and watching the incredible stars in the inky black night sky.
Today’s Proverb: 9:10 For the reverence and fear of God are basic to all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understsanding.
