Spanish Wells to Mutton Fish Bay, Bahamas
19 March 2011
Before our departure we spent the morning at the internet café (really a golf cart/gift shop) updating the blog and answering emails. We also found the only working payphone on the island! It will not let us leave voice mails, so if you see a number on your caller ID that starts with 242, it was us! We had a lovely two and a half hour jib sail to Current Cut, motored through the cut, then headed over to Mutton Fish Bay. This is the bay closest to Glass Window. We were thrilled to be the only boat there – the moon was full and absolutely lit up the night (thank you Lord!). Weather permitting, we always eat in the cockpit, so this was an especially nice night to watch the moon rise and enjoy our meal. After dinner we sat out on the deck top in our chairs and counted our blessings star by star.
