What a blessing we received from the Lord today! We were walking down the main street of Alice Town looking for the grocery and a couple in a silver van pulled up next to us and asked us if we wanted a ride – we asked where they were going and they said to Gregory Town (just north). We said sure, and piled into the car with them. Our new friends Doug and Meb are from Montreal and vacation here twice a year. We spent the afternoon with them traveling the area visiting local shops and looking for Bahamian bread. We bought homemade mango jam (yum!) and I found the beautiful Androsia fabric (purple of course!) that is a trademark of the islands to make a wrap out of. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Cove Eleuthera overlooking the ocean. Thank you Lord for our new friends and their hospitality!!
