Warderick Wells to Blackpoint
02 May 2011
20-25 knot winds, port tack – close reach, double reefed main and genoa. 7.5 knots down the banks, 1-2’ waves – Bahamas sailing at its best – wind and no significant waves. Early afternoon anchorage at Blackpoint. We gave Elaine her first fun laundry experience – dinking in two large bags of dirty laundry, while trying to keep dry! Between washer and dryer loads, we had dinner at Lorraines and surfed the internet (can we multi-task or what??). Also checked out the book exchanges in both places – came home with three new books! Returned to DreamCatcher and watched The King’s Speech – great movie!
