Snake Cay

What a night!! Once the tide went out (around 1:00 am) we were suddenly aground and tilting 30 degrees! Little by little, as the boat starts the tilt, items in the boat start shifting, falling, clanking, etc. At the final point the boat falls to its resting place and all quiets till the tide comes back and floats us again. Sooooo, our first task of the day was to move towards the channel to deeper water, setting two anchors to keep us in place – anchoring fun!! Bruce’s quest for the mighty Lionfish was realized today when he speared one – he was unsuccessful in catching the other two, but looks forward to helping the Bahamian government rid the waters of these unwanted creatures. Today we saw four squid hanging out under the boat and mantas again! PTL! We started a new DVD sermon series with Charles Stanley called “Living the Extraordinary Life”. Dr. Stanley had 15 points detailing the characteristics of living the dynamic Christian life – we look forward to the remainder of the series!
