March 8 - 10, 2016 After a month in Puntarenas we are starting to head north again – but not too far! We motored 5 miles to the small island of Isla San Lucas. This island is a national park and was home to a penal colony from 1873 to 1991. Prisoner’s lives here were short and often spent in torture. We visited the ruins and walked across the island to Playa del Coco – and most importantly celebrated Big Dog’s 65th birthday while here! Thank you Lord!
