April 5 - 6, 2016 We made a wonderful 26 hour passage sailing (only motored 45 min.!) with no moon to the “waiting room” to wait on Bill and the pilot to guide us over the bar at Bahia Jiquilisco. This is a tricky entry over a bar with shifting shoals that must be entered at high tide with low to moderate ocean swells – thankful no problems! God is good! We are joining 8 other boats in the Cruisers Rally to El Salvador to learn about and explore the beautiful country of El Salvador.
