Jib sailed 14 miles to the La Cruz anchorage starting in 5 knots and ending in 25-30 knots while trying to anchor (regular sea breeze every afternoon in the anchorage is 25-30 knots). La Cruz is a popular cruisers stop with its marina, town and proximity to PV for provisioning. We anchored just outside the marina and dinked in to explore, eat and shop. The Sunday waterfront market was a real treat – fresh produce, baked goods, food and local handicrafts. Too fun!
