October 18 - 30, 2017 After seven months in Puerto Vallarta the departure countdown has begun! The dreaded chore of refinishing the toe rail (two new stanchions, new bungs, wood repair, recaulk chainplates) has been completed - this time we used Epifanes Yacht Enamel (black). Good Lord willing it will last a couple of years. Lots of sewing projects (awnings refurbished, new throw line bag, new fender covers with leather inserts, etc.), a new side ladder fabricated (it pins from side to side), kayak mounts installed, boat washed and waxed, stainless polished, two new Dometic A/C units installed, refurbished dinghy (paint stern, sew new seat cover, replace wood seat with starboard, new lines, two extra midship handles attached), MMSI number reprogrammed on all radios. All projects were funded by Big Dog bitcoin investments - woohoo!
