San Javier
13 April 2018
Our friends Cindy and Bill (m/v Albatross) rented a car today and we drove one hour inland through the mountains (three small streams ran over the road – are we in the desert??) to the small town of San Javier. San Javier is a small village of 150 with two small restaurants and a tiny tienda. The Mission Church was built in 1875 and is still used for services. San Javier is a very popular day trip from Loreto – we enjoyed exploring and had a lovely lunch.
