June 1 – 3, 2018 What a fun treat! Kenny and Donna asked us to join them on s/v Jersey Girl for a weekend of diving in the Ispiritu Santo Islands – we had not been diving since Providencia (3+ years ago!) so were excited to get back in the water. Our first dive was in Candelero Bay – after some searching we finally found the artificial reef structure where lots of clams, starfish and fish make it their home. The next day we dove the Feng Ming wreck in El Empachado Bay – discovered lots of fish and this fun turtle resting on the hull! We did of course have some equipment malfunctions (both of us have gear between 20-30 years old!) so when we returned we did some online scuba gear shopping, ordering one new BC, a new dive computer (purple of course) and two new regulators (one purple/one black)! Sigh. Expensive but fun trip! Thank you Kenny and Donna for your wonderful hospitality!
